It was also only about 10-12 minutes away from <a href="http://www.thecraftyscrapper.com/" target="_blank">The Crafty Scrapper</a> in Waxahachie. Awesome store!!! I got a few things done & started which for me is very good because I usually mess around & don't get anything done. LOL<br />
<br />
I did the January tag from Tim Holtz's 12 tags.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HlJMfb9bMk0/USUf4vTN2PI/AAAAAAAAA-U/CJ_oczQ7HV8/s320/P2183943.JPG" width="240" /></div>
<br />
I got some new <a href="http://authentiquepaper.com/" target="_blank">Authentique</a> paper while at the Crafty Scrapper. It is a spring line & just beautiful. <br />
<br />
I got the inspiration for this tag off a tag on my <a href="http://pinterest.com/scrapalooza/atc-s-tags/" target="_blank">ATC's & Tags</a> pinterest board.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_WcccKRU1yg/USUh0m1e-ZI/AAAAAAAAA-k/t_3HVOD1rVw/s1600/P2183944.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-_WcccKRU1yg/USUh0m1e-ZI/AAAAAAAAA-k/t_3HVOD1rVw/s320/P2183944.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then I also made this card. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LFbwiBxR6gA/USUiGdYOxDI/AAAAAAAAA-w/VmKXVK-3Q_M/s1600/P2183948+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LFbwiBxR6gA/USUiGdYOxDI/AAAAAAAAA-w/VmKXVK-3Q_M/s320/P2183948+(2).JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K4_7QbN1Cug/USUi1OmXqqI/AAAAAAAAA-8/fhqMPhY9P8o/s1600/P2183952+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K4_7QbN1Cug/USUi1OmXqqI/AAAAAAAAA-8/fhqMPhY9P8o/s320/P2183952+(2).JPG" width="317" /></a>Then I scraplifted this layout from another one I put on my <a href="http://pinterest.com/scrapalooza/awesome-scrapbook-pages/" target="_blank">Awesome Scrapbook pages</a> Pinterest board. I added the picture after I got home.</div>
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K4_7QbN1Cug/USUi1OmXqqI/AAAAAAAAA-8/fhqMPhY9P8o/s1600/P2183952+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SjFaz6R_eA0/USUi0r_tZWI/AAAAAAAAA-4/f6zj2nOSlJU/s1600/P2183954+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-SjFaz6R_eA0/USUi0r_tZWI/AAAAAAAAA-4/f6zj2nOSlJU/s320/P2183954+(2).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

I am in a card exchange birthday club & it is so much fun! There are 42 of us, can you imagine getting all those beautiful handmade cards for your birthday?! Here is one I made for a January b-day.<br />
The paper is from a Tim Holtz pad & I used Broken China distress stickle to bring out the bird.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-2075747346620969642013-01-17T21:04:00.002-06:002013-01-17T21:04:59.558-06:00Button Fairy<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I wasn't on here much last year for some reason. I have started this new year off with some swaps. This one is called a button fairy. I had never heard of them but I guess they are kinda cute. This is mine. I will be sending them to their new homes tomorrow, I can't wait to see what I get back.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-52639101074313262232012-08-08T10:19:00.000-05:002012-08-09T19:02:34.755-05:00ATC holder<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"> I love ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) but I can never figure out what to do with the ones I really like. I wanted to show them off so I asked around to see what other people do & after the brainstorm I got an idea of what I wanted, now to find it...a few days later in my alley someone had thrown out a torn up baby gate, Perfect! So I got it (yes I am a trash digger lol) took a while but got the piece out of it that I wanted and voila!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Verdana;"> It is a little rough but it is exactly what I wanted. I am close to the end of a remodel of my scrap room so I will no doubt clean this up & decorate it so I can add all my favorite ATC's that I have recieved.</span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-39958504314199049212012-06-25T22:39:00.000-05:002012-08-09T19:03:37.444-05:00Altered mousetraps<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

These are mousetraps that I altered for a swap. They were a challenge but a lot of fun! I chose to do mine in a shabby chic style. I used Tim Holtz distress inks, crackle paint & distress stains. I added lace, pearls, buttons & Prima flowers. You can get the mousetraps for cheap, I got these at Big Lots I think it was $2 for 4. I am going to make the other 2 with magnets on the back & put paper in the trap part for lists & reminders.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-77683694837852161602011-07-08T09:53:00.001-05:002011-07-08T09:59:15.608-05:00Vintage family layout with the Imagine<div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I printed on a pale yellow piece of cardstock, then used a border punch & of course inked everything. I had this great vintage photo that was perfect for this look, I cut a few of the flowers on the design so they would overlap the picture, then just started adding my embellishments, prima flowers & stones & some lace.<br />

Any fun resolutions out there?</div><br />
<br />
Well I must say that after the holiday rush & the nice little bit of down time I am having right now, I got scrappers block! Good thing that I found this layout on the bonus section of the Best friends cart. I just printed it as is & then added buttons & stickles & a great page came alive! Then my creativeness came back & I have been scrappin all night. Sometimes you just need a little push, so check out the bonus features on your Imagine cartridges if you get a little stuck. Happy New Year!<br />

Can you feel the excitement in the air? My daughter is 8 & I get a daily report, sometimes 2-3 times per day about how many days until Christmas & how long until she can open presents. Love that feeling. Anyway I have been wrapping lots of presents so I used my Imagine for one. I just printed a full sheet from the Lori's Garden cartridge, which I got last week. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TQjNHUgDxdI/AAAAAAAAA1A/NKafVW_7aqM/s1600/IMG_4147.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TQjNHUgDxdI/AAAAAAAAA1A/NKafVW_7aqM/s320/IMG_4147.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">The print I chose was almost snowflake looking, I just love it. I sprayed glitter on the box part, of course I had to ink something so I inked the strips for the bow with Broken China distress ink. I cut a 1" image that is on the Imagine itself & stamped the image from my Pink Stamper's winter Punnies. Then I popped it up with this cool little product that's called Action Wobble. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TQjNadpUChI/AAAAAAAAA1E/eAMScv0hmbM/s1600/IMG_4149.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TQjNadpUChI/AAAAAAAAA1E/eAMScv0hmbM/s320/IMG_4149.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">I love dimension & popping things out & this is really cool, it has 2 sticky sides & a 'spring' type thing that makes it pop out. </div><br />
To make the bow, I printed the same print on the back of a metallic blue sheet of cardstock then I cut 6 strips 3/8th" x 12" to make the bowI just glued each strip into a circle then put glue in the middle & put it together then stacked them, you could put holes in the middle for a brad or just glue it all together & put a button or anything really in the middle. Thanks for looking. <br />

It is so much fun!!! We went to a Dickens Christmas festival this weekend & this couple was there in a booth & had books they had written, Rowan of the Wood, I have not read any of it yet, but they also had a lot of steampunk stuff, I just had to get Parker's picture with her! Of course I had to play with the pictures at my favorite place online for altering pictures- picnik.com I used all Graphic 45 steampunk line. Tim Holtz little metal sprocket gears & trimmings that I inked with vintage photo distress ink & a few Prima flowers.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-54665895557643558012010-11-23T09:27:00.000-06:002010-11-23T09:27:38.506-06:00Gift Bag on the ImagineHi! Happy Thanksgiving! I don't know about you but I am ready to eat! I know some you aren't football or Dallas fans but GO COWBOYS!!! :) I had a fun time this week making my gift bags for my post this week. I used a plain white lunch sack & a tree from Christmas Noel, picked a pretty green color for it & then stickled it. I taped the paper bag down with clear tape so no edges would stick up anywhere. To place my tree where I wanted, fellow design team member Linda Kaiser has an excellent video on her blog on how to move things where you want them, basically you put little squares from the shapes already on your Imagine & fill them in white, I did one 1½" squares across the bottom & 1 more then the tree. After it printed I used a fun border punch at the top & then folded it, I used Time Holtz distress ink Tea Dye for my edges, punched 2 holes after I folded it for the ribbon & tag. I also Stickled the tree for a little color. Once you get your design you can print off how ever many you need, I can not wait to use this idea for my daughter's b-day goody bags in March! <br />

Wow, Thanksgiving is already next week! We always decorate for Christmas at Thanksgiving so I am starting on my Christmas gifts so I will have pretty packages to put under the tree next week. My project this week will be going to my daughter's good friend. Of course I had to use the Best Friends Imagine Cartridge.</div><div style="text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjD5H0cUI/AAAAAAAAAyw/58MUY4fW2Yc/s1600/IMG_3942.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" px="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjD5H0cUI/AAAAAAAAAyw/58MUY4fW2Yc/s320/IMG_3942.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjJJC3apI/AAAAAAAAAy0/rRLKKeV6pi4/s1600/IMG_3953.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" px="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjJJC3apI/AAAAAAAAAy0/rRLKKeV6pi4/s320/IMG_3953.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjNUzk3TI/AAAAAAAAAy4/RaraYZAHj5E/s1600/IMG_3952.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" px="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHjNUzk3TI/AAAAAAAAAy4/RaraYZAHj5E/s320/IMG_3952.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">I started out with a flat panel canvas, I used Tim Holtz's Tattered Rose crackle paint. I then used a pretty pink flower pattern from pg. 42 on a basic shape. Then I used just the frame on the bottom of page 21 with the last pattern on pg. 44.Then I made the Best Friends tag on pg. 13.I sewed on the frame & tag & used pop dots so it would stand out.I inked everything with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.I also inked my vintage seam binding with the same ink. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Very fast simple & easy but such a great gift!</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />

I just love this new paper from Cosmo Cricket! Circa 1934. </div><div style="text-align: center;">I love this photo & am so happy that I got it. My daughter & her friend have been friends for 7 yrs. & even though they are on opposite teams they still cheer each other on.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: center;">I used Sesame Street Font Cricut Cartridge for the lettering.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHnw-vcD9I/AAAAAAAAAy8/nh5BtiUUV5U/s1600/IMG_3880.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" px="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TOHnw-vcD9I/AAAAAAAAAy8/nh5BtiUUV5U/s400/IMG_3880.JPG" width="397" /></a></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-20512373457429569872010-11-09T08:42:00.000-06:002010-11-09T08:42:56.507-06:00Fall Brick Shelf Sitter<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">This is my project for the I-Team at Creative Critterz Imaginations this week. Be sure to check their blog everyday to see some cute things made with the Imagine! Click on my I-Team Blinkie at the top right.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I love to recycle & alter things & I have been staring at this stack of bricks in our garage since we moved here 7½ years ago. So I finally am doing something with them! I also love Fall, so I decided to make a fall shelf sitter. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Just a plain ole brick from our house. </div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TNlbBzqXqFI/AAAAAAAAAyQ/1GrEX0d2M3A/s1600/IMG_3855.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" px="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TNlbBzqXqFI/AAAAAAAAAyQ/1GrEX0d2M3A/s320/IMG_3855.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">I used the Imagine More Art Cartridge.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The fun new thing that I tried on my Imagine was printing on ribbon. I used the border on pg. 25 & put it in layers & just used the last piece. I used satin ribbon & just layed it on the mat to match the placement on the screen, it did get a tiny bit on my mat but nothing a baby wipe didn't take care of.</div><div class="separator" style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TNlbHetXyAI/AAAAAAAAAyU/ngSG98VclAM/s1600/IMG_3856.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" px="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TNlbHetXyAI/AAAAAAAAAyU/ngSG98VclAM/s400/IMG_3856.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Then I used just the flowers from the top of page 18 & the bottom of page 19 (I cut the leaves off). I changed the color to something fallish, I then cut 2 of each, one at 3½" & one at 2½". I then crumpled & inked them, I used Tim Holtz Distress inks-Rusty Hinge & Spiced Marmalade. I added buttons & put them on twigs & added my ribbon. I covered the front of the brick with my matching border on page 25. I put some of my daughters clay in the holes to hold my twigs. (shhh don't tell her, lol) & here it is. Thanks for looking! </div><br />

I just love my new machine!! So much fun!<br /><br /><div><div>I have the nursery cart that came with my machine that I got on HSN, I have no one to give baby stuff to right now but I just had to make something with these cute little critters!</div><br /><div>I made a grow chart, a baby banner, a catch all can, a wipees box, & a picture in a frame.</div><br /><div>I wanted a kind of vintage look to this so each piece was inked with Tim Holtz Distress ink-Tea Dye, & I of course had to sew on each of them! Lots of scalloped, waved & rounded edges to keep it soft looking. I also used my Signo white pen to make white stitches on the green.</div><div></div><div>All of the letters and numbers are from the Hannah montanna cartridge using Daddy's Girl font. The banner cuts are from Calligraphy font.</div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529391543511371666" border="0" alt="" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxYUBcLT5I/AAAAAAAAAw4/o1hnjR0flpw/s400/IMG_3736.JPG" /> </div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529391541271891602" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxYT5GPjpI/AAAAAAAAAww/Nf0LP-Mr4wA/s400/IMG_3737.JPG" /> On the growth chart I used pop dots on the animals so they would stand out. </div><div>The ribbon I used is actual vintage seam binding, it is just so pretty. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 203px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529393216023812130" border="0" alt="" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxZ1YCN2CI/AAAAAAAAAxQ/Jy8l_DEmQ-8/s400/IMG_3727.JPG" /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529393207107999042" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxZ020hVUI/AAAAAAAAAxI/ygUdntWxVwA/s400/IMG_3728.JPG" />The wipee box is going to be handle a lot, so after I made all my pieces I used Mod Podge on them. I glued these pieces on using E-6000 so they would stick to the plastic better. The scallop cut on the top of the box is from the French Manor cart. Of course you need a stinky skunk on a wipee box. <img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529394494130750114" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxa_xWqAqI/AAAAAAAAAxY/VgjacgWmlvQ/s400/IMG_3731.JPG" />The can is just a catch all for whatever you might need to throw into it, it is very simple but effective.<br /></div><div><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 300px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529394505778204658" border="0" alt="" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxbAcvoD_I/AAAAAAAAAxg/CjAjgpYwXFc/s400/IMG_3730.JPG" />This frame has been hanging around my house forever & I could never get rid of it or figure out anything to do with it, it is perfect for this! It has 4 pieces of glass in it, in layers. I put a couple of pieces of each of the picture on all the glass so there is a lot of dimension, it really is super cute & of course looks better when you can actually see it in real life.<br /><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 400px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529394507324199810" border="0" alt="" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/TLxbAigOE4I/AAAAAAAAAxo/qB5nN2FRXgg/s400/IMG_3732.JPG" />Thanks for looking! I am better in person so I can actually show you how to do it, that is why I would rather teach a class. Anyway I know most of you are far away so I will try to show you how to make this, PLEASE let me know if you have any questions! Here goes nothing! :)<br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVHJjx03aI/AAAAAAAAAt8/BiRucinv2Vc/s1600/IMG_1796.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVHJjx03aI/AAAAAAAAAt8/BiRucinv2Vc/s400/IMG_1796.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509387948706291106" /></a><br />I used chipboard. I cut the pieces as follows<br />the 2 large sides are 8½ x 6½<br />the 2 smaller sides are the same only they are turned opposite & you need to cut off the top 2 corners to make a peak for the roof to sit on.<br />the 2 roof pieces are 6½ x 9.<br />The base is 7½ x 10" & I used regular cardboard for this so it would be sturdier.<br /><br />Now you need to cover all pieces with whatever paper you have decided on.<br /><br />Next you need to put your holes in. I used my Bind-It-All & punched holes down the sides of the four pieces that will be assembled to make the 4 walls of the house.<br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVKwNTZFmI/AAAAAAAAAuE/fe9PFEMdNmI/s1600/IMG_1799.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVKwNTZFmI/AAAAAAAAAuE/fe9PFEMdNmI/s400/IMG_1799.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509391911222842978" /></a><br />Then I put it together using ribbon.<br />Then you also need to punch holes along the long sides of the roof, I used my owires to attach these together so the lid would open & close easily.<br /><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVLiw4VP0I/AAAAAAAAAuM/ayDGmXHq3fU/s1600/IMG_001253_1.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVLiw4VP0I/AAAAAAAAAuM/ayDGmXHq3fU/s400/IMG_001253_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509392779766480706" /></a><br /><br />Then I glued the 4 walls down. I put a line of tacky glue & set the house on it, then as it started to dry I used hot glue & put a line in the front of the each wall & also on the back inside of the house so it makes it more sturdy. So there are 3 lines of glue holding it up.<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVNdh2BahI/AAAAAAAAAuU/_H1opYHs1Gc/s1600/IMG_1800.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVNdh2BahI/AAAAAAAAAuU/_H1opYHs1Gc/s400/IMG_1800.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509394888854170130" /></a><br />Then I glued just one side of the roof to the house , but leave the other side opened so you can open & close it.<br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVN2P8TpaI/AAAAAAAAAuc/dkKOWP2yVks/s1600/IMG_1801.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVN2P8TpaI/AAAAAAAAAuc/dkKOWP2yVks/s400/IMG_1801.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509395313545422242" /></a><br /><br />Then you are ready to decorate it however you want. You could also make a gingerbread house or Easter or whatever you wanted. Get creative! Have fun! Hope you enjoy this.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-45112636269397130152010-08-25T11:14:00.004-05:002010-08-25T11:24:02.529-05:00Halloween Candy Dish House<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDLI5eWNI/AAAAAAAAAt0/OVhaIzdMZEI/s1600/IMG_001253_1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDLI5eWNI/AAAAAAAAAt0/OVhaIzdMZEI/s400/IMG_001253_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509383577803839698" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDKhHj3NI/AAAAAAAAAts/_nX197JwqxE/s1600/IMG_001154_1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDKhHj3NI/AAAAAAAAAts/_nX197JwqxE/s400/IMG_001154_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509383567125503186" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDKL2l2aI/AAAAAAAAAtk/3hG5COaHnbs/s1600/IMG_000772_1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDKL2l2aI/AAAAAAAAAtk/3hG5COaHnbs/s400/IMG_000772_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509383561417185698" /></a><br /><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDJ6SokEI/AAAAAAAAAtc/Ufb3HvRgoPk/s1600/IMG_000681_1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDJ6SokEI/AAAAAAAAAtc/Ufb3HvRgoPk/s400/IMG_000681_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509383556702965826" /></a><br /><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDJpsb_RI/AAAAAAAAAtU/Izg1SqKuOck/s1600/IMG_000483_1.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_suKjWO3HG3M/THVDJpsb_RI/AAAAAAAAAtU/Izg1SqKuOck/s400/IMG_000483_1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5509383552247790866" /></a><br />This is my Halloween House Candy Dish.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4825434784499571875.post-7843467405139615552010-08-19T09:30:00.004-05:002010-08-19T09:34:11.237-05:00Summer blog hopCheck out the summer blog carnival at CraftCritique!
