This was for a challenge to alter your photo. This was such a fun photo. Her hair gets so electric on this couch it just cracks me up. I cut the edges of the photo with decorative scissors & then just cut it into 1 inch strips. I am also trying to use up my stuff so this is pretty simple with scrap paper & ribbon & I just printed the font onto more scrap paper.

NSD
What did you do for National Scrapbook Day last Saturday?
I went to Austin to my aunts & scrapped all day. I actually got 6 pages done!
I sat in on the scrapbook.com live crop. It was a blast even though I didn't win anything! I completed all of the challenges I had signed up for & even a couple that they threw in there during the day.
You can click on my gallery link to see the other 2 layouts that were for their challenges.
Let me see what you did!

SHOT anniversary crop
I am a member of a meet up group called SHOT-scrap happy ones together, they are a year old & had an anniversary crop last Saturday all day & I managed to actually get some pages done!
One I can't show you yet because I submitted it in a contest. But I made one for a 'Slang' challenge at scrapbook.com. I had the perfect pictures I took last year. Then I made one of my newest daycare baby-Jackson, he is just the sweetest little boy! I really like these 2 layouts.

I had a thought!
Can you believe it? I was cleaning up my scraproom & kept looking at my shelves with stamps on them, all my poor little lonely dusty stamps & it dawned on me---I don't like to stamp! I don't have a ton but even the ones I do have I NEVER use, I bought them on sale or someone gave them to me or I traded or who knows where I got them? But I finally gave myself permission to say it "I don't stamp" Is that part of the scrapaholic step program? I don't have to do or try or like everything that has to do with scrapbooking, although I seem to at least try it. So I am freeing upi my shelve space for something that I do use & like, who knows what just yet but I bet I can find something real soon! :)

2 favorites working together
I was trying to line up a page for one of my mini albums in my Bind-it-All & I couldn't get it quite right, so I stuck my see through ruler in & it worked perfectly!!! Two of my favorite products working together, I love it! :)
The Bind-it-all is a must have if you do any of your own mini albums.
The Zero Hero Centering ruler is a must have if you scrap at all! The 0 is in the middle & it goes out 6 inches on each side- a wonderful tool to have!
