Princess play clipboard

This is a clipboard that I painted with magnetic paint & then chalkboard paint. I used the Once Upon A Princess Cricut cartridge to make dolls & the castle & I put magnet on the back so you can play with it. Then hang it up when you are finished.

One year old

I made this for the Liftateer challenge & a Cricut Circle challenge. I used the Home Decor cartridge for the flowers & branches. The paper is an older style by Melissa Frances.

Ballerina

This is a layout I did for a contest at my lss & another person & myself won! yay. I am so bad at writing down where product comes from unless I 'have' to. I think this paper came from Shabby Green Door? Songbird maybe? Anyway, the contest is called Page in a Bag & you pick up a bag of supplies & have to make soemthing with it, I love to see how different everyones project is & that it comes out of the same bag of stuff. The shape of the photo was actually on the paper that way, I just cut my photo to fit, then sewed around it. The crown is from the Hannah Montanna Cricut Cartridge. The music sheet at the bottom was a plain piece of cardboard rolodex style that was in the bag. The little foam flower at the bottom was in the bag. The pink velvet dot ribbon & the green dots were all in the bag. Then I added a bunch of tulle & sprayed sparkle on it with my newest find that I LOVE, it is a shimmer spritz by Tsukineko. I found it hiding in the stamp section at JoAnn's. They have been out for a while after I bought it, it's probably discontinued because I love it now. lol Thanks for looking!! Have a great day! :)

Love my Bic Mark It markers. :)

These are the Bic Mark Its & I just love them, I use them for everything. I got this pack at Walmart for $12.44
I use them a lot to color my acrylic rhinestones, which works beautifully! The pack this comes in has a space at the bottom that I put a sample of each color. I just used glue dots to attach them after I colored them.

An easy way to color them is to put a strip of adhesive down, then put the stones on there & color them, they dry almost immediately & if you pick them up right there is already adhesive on them!

I learned these awesome tips from Tammy at http://www.cricutcritters.com/ she has the best retreats & ideas! I always learn a ton of stuff from her! Thanks Tammy. :)

Embossing kit for the Cricut!!!

I bought an embossing kit for my Cricut & I absolutely am loving it! Anything you can cut, you can emboss! My first project that I am ready to post is this awesome frame.

I bought one of those $1 wooden frames at a craft store & painted it black. Then I took plumbers tape & embossed it. I used Stretch your Imagination & made 1" squares side by side, the image I used is at the bottom 4th from the end. Then I painted it black & after it had dried I sanded it. For the corners I used Storybook, fancy corners shift 7 at 1 3/4", I inked it then blotted it with black. Then I just added a few embellishments. I was so excited to do this project that I didn't do step by step pictures, but I will make another one & do more pics! Any questions just ask. :)

The place where you can buy the embossing kit is at Chomas Creations http://www.amychomas.com/

I will definitely have more projects soon using this new kit!
