ATC holder

I love ATC's (Artist Trading Cards) but I can never figure out what to do with the ones I really like. I wanted to show them off so I asked around to see what other people do & after the brainstorm I got an idea of what I wanted, now to find it...a few days later in my alley someone had thrown out a torn up baby gate, Perfect! So I got it (yes I am a trash digger lol) took a while but got the piece out of it that I wanted and voila!
It is a little rough but it is exactly what I wanted. I am close to the end of a remodel of my scrap room so I will no doubt clean this up & decorate it so I can add all my favorite ATC's that I have recieved.

Altered mousetraps

These are mousetraps that I altered for a swap. They were a challenge but a lot of fun! I chose to do mine in a shabby chic style. I used Tim Holtz distress inks, crackle paint & distress stains. I added lace, pearls, buttons & Prima flowers. You can get the mousetraps for cheap, I got these at Big Lots I think it was $2 for 4. I am going to make the other 2 with magnets on the back & put paper in the trap part for lists & reminders.

Vintage family layout with the Imagine

This layout was made on the Imagine from the Lori's Garden Imagine Cartridge & used I Linda's instructions ( http://paperboutique.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-to-print-sentiment-anywhere-on-card.html )

for moving things around & I ended up with a great vintage page. I printed on a pale yellow piece of cardstock, then used a border punch & of course inked everything. I had this great vintage photo that was perfect for this look, I cut a few of the flowers on the design so they would overlap the picture, then just started adding my embellishments, prima flowers & stones & some lace.

Wipee containers with Mod Podge & Cricut

These are so cute & easy. I just cut out my shapes on the Cricut Imagine, then I used E-6000 glue to put them on the plastic & then used Mod Podge over the top of the paper because it will be handled so much.

Best Friends layout

Can you believe it is almost the New Year! Any fun resolutions out there?

Well I must say that after the holiday rush & the nice little bit of down time I am having right now, I got scrappers block! Good thing that I found this layout on the bonus section of the Best friends cart. I just printed it as is & then added buttons & stickles & a great page came alive! Then my creativeness came back & I have been scrappin all night. Sometimes you just need a little push, so check out the bonus features on your Imagine cartridges if you get a little stuck. Happy New Year!
